Leisure Lanes is so much more than a bowling alley. We are a full entertainment center. Located in Monroe, WI, we host a variety of entertainment options and events. From live music to birthday parties, food, drinks, and so much more — we have it all in a fun, welcoming environment.

About us
Leisure Lanes was introduced to the Monroe community by the Studer Brothers and opened in November 1974. We have strived to be Monroe’s most complete family entertainment center—evolving with the times.
The original facility had an attached liquor store called “The Vineyard.” Over the years, many interior changes occurred, including the addition of a dance floor and stage for local bands, and at one point a Pizza Pit franchise operating in what used to be the liquor store.

In 1980, Biff Borowitz began working at Leisure Lanes as a mechanic. Six years later, in 1986, Dan Goepfert joined as Assistant Manager and Pro Shop Specialist. In 1993, Biff and Dan purchased the center from the Studer Brothers. Dan became the sole owner in 2015 and sold it to the current owners, Chad and Brittany, in June of 2025.
Today, we feature Spirits Bar & Grill, offering a full menu of delicious sandwiches, appetizers, and made-to-order pizzas. We also serve a full range of beers—including local craft options—and liquor beverages. To enhance your experience, we’ve installed eight HDTVs throughout the bar area and four additional TVs by the bowling lanes for game watching.
Our lanes feature synthetic surfaces with new bumper-system options, powered by Bes‑X—QubicaAMF automatic scoring. Bowlers can enjoy a variety of interactive games, including Mad Games, YouToons, Selfie Grids, and the ability to customize their experience directly from the scoring console.
